Holiday Snaps From NYC

I’ve been quiet over the last couple of weeks, partly because I was crazy busy with work, and partly because I then jetted off to America for a bit of an adventure. Tough life hey 😉

A friend of mine got married (an absolutely sensational, jazz-filled southern wedding) in her home town of New Orleans a couple of days ago, but keen to cram as much in to this trip as I could, my BF and I spent a few days in NYC beforehand, and now we’ve just arrived in Florida, via a bus trip and a 7 hour car journey through Alabama and Mississippi.

So far, it has been the most exciting and jam-packed trip I could have imagined, America sure knows how to give great holiday.

I’ll be writing a few posts up about the food I’ve been eating (I’ve found some real gems, happily it’s not all junk out here), the places we’ve visited, and how we managed to do it on a pretty slim budget – but in the meantime, I just wanted to share a few snaps of NYC before we make the most of Florida for the last leg of our trip.

I know it’s a Monday afternoon back home, and I apologise…

Thanks lovely – it was so damn hot which we didn’t expect in May! I’m going to post some New Orleans ones next, that place is INCREDIBLE 🙂 xx
