New food festival Feast On Cardiff takes place this weekend from Friday 29th to Sunday 31st May 2026.
Founded in Bristol in 2024, Feast On is an award-winning food festival celebrating the best of independent food, drink and local culture across the South West. Now, for the first time, the festival is coming to Wales. The event brings together standout restaurants, street food traders, artisan producers, live demos, talks, wine tastings and entertainment for a three-day celebration of Cardiff’s food scene which also honors the wider Welsh culinary landscape.
The festival is expected to attract more than 15,000 attendees this weekend, and it’s not hard to see why. The set up is gorgeous.
The festival’s main trader line-up – available all weekend – includes the likes of Wok Hei, HILLS Brecon, Tân, The Dough Thrower, Bao Selecta, Chantico, Churros Hermanos, Mr Croquewich, Lucky No7 Coffee, Franks Hot Dogs, Meating Point, Khione Deli Lucky 7 Coffee and Gilly’s Coffee. The offerings span everything from fire-led cooking, fresh pasta and wood-fired pizza, to filled tacos, fluffy bao buns, Greek street food, gourmet hot dogs, artisan coffee and sweet treats.
I sampled a lovely Patatas Bravas dish from Bodega, steak frites with chimichuri from Pasture Restaurant, and a taster pot of the silkiest crab and lemon rgatoni from Pasta a Mano (love those guys)!
Alongside the street food and restaurant offer, there’s a Produce Market, and a packed programme of free Live Demos & Talks running across all three days. Catch chefs like Tommy Heaney (Heaney’s) and Dave Killick (Ember No 5). It’s nice to see some lesser know names like Sabrina Khan (Maasi’s Café) on the line up too.
