Cardiff Airport recently announced that it was expecting 35,000 passengers over the Christmas period – up 9% on last year – with the most popular destination being Amsterdam. Having recently taken the short KLM hop over myself, I can’t say I’m surprised. It’s a gorgeous, picturesque city, with the city centre located just minutes away from the airport by public transport.
