Review: An Afternoon on the River with Canoe the Wye

It was Pete’s 32nd birthday at the beginning of August, and since we’ve been together, we always take a day off work to do something fun on our birthdays. This year he decided he wanted to take a half day canoeing trip down the River Wye, which proved to be an amazing way to take in some really breathtaking views.

Welsh forests are least popular in UK according to Instagram – wtf?

Away Resorts, operator of six holiday resorts based around the UK, recently analysed thousands of Instagram hashtags to discover what they named ‘the public’s favourite UK forests.’ Not a single Welsh forest made it into the top 25, and I’ve got to say, I’m pretty happy about it!
