A group of local, independent coffee shops and restaurants has teamed up to promote #ContactlessCoffee and encourage the safe and hygienic use of reusable coffee cups as lockdown restrictions lift. The campaign is based on an initiative from City to Sea, the award-winning, Bristol-based organisation turning the tide on single-use plastic. They recently launched the #ContactlessCoffee campaign, which began as a pilot in Bristol, with a short video for cafes highlighting the latest best practice for accepting reusable cups safely.View Post
On Friday, Mark Drakeford announced that from tomorrow, we will all be allowed to meet up in parks and private gardens, as long as we maintain social distancing, avoid contact, and limit it to two households at a time. Like everyone else in the country, I can’t wait to make the most of this new lease of freedom and meet up with friends and family who I’ve not seen for weeks on end. Picnics in the park are about to become a daily occurrence for me!
