Review: The Escape Spa Package at The Park Plaza, Cardiff

On a blustery day in the middle of a particularly hectic December, I took the Park Plaza Cardiff up on an offer to review their ever-popular Escape Package; jumping at the chance to laze by the pool, indulge in 80 minutes of spa treatments, and hit the restaurant to enjoy a two-course solo dinner (and exude some big main-character-energy).

Review: The Shangri-La Hotel at The Shard, London

It’s taken me so long to write this post because it doesn’t really fit with the rest of this site. The Shangri La London certainly isn’t budget-friendly, it’s not eco-friendly and it isn’t somewhere you might stay if you were looking to reconnect with nature. That being said, it is an experience I’ll never ever forget, and so for that reason, I just had to write it up.
