New food festival Feast On Cardiff takes place this weekend from Friday 29th to Sunday 31st May 2026.

Founded in Bristol in 2024, Feast On is an award-winning food festival celebrating the best of independent food, drink and local culture across the South West. Now, for the first time, the festival is coming to Wales. It brings together standout restaurants, street food traders, artisan producers, live demos, talks, wine tastings and entertainment for a three-day celebration of Cardiff’s food scene that also honors the wider Welsh culinary landscape.

ONE NIGHT ONLY: CARDIFF CENTRAL MARKET TO OPEN LATE WITH LIVE DJS

Cardiff’s historic indoor market will be opening late on Friday 5th September from 5.30 – 9.30pm, with a live DJ and an eclectic range of independent traders putting on special offers for the event.

The late opening will give visitors the chance to explore the historic market after dark, and sample exclusive dishes from resident traders and some of the best independent street food Cardiff has to offer.

Matsudai Ramen & Halen Môn team up to launch Welsh ramen kit collab

Two powerhouses of the Welsh food scene are teaming up; Matsudai Ramen, Wales’ cult ramen joint, and Halen Môn, the Anglesey Sea Salt company, are to launch a new collaborative ramen kit next month.

The new shio (salt) ramen kit has been created by the Matsudai team to showcase Halen Môn’s salt products – and particularly its smoked salt and smoked water.
