Situated in a Grade II listed building (and former pumping station) in Llanelli‚Äôs North Dock, Sosban is definitely one of the most interesting restaurants I’ve had the pleasure of eating at. With its exposed brick, high-ceilinged and wooden-beamed interior, it’s also an absolutely beautiful place to spend an evening luxuriating over dinner and drinks.

The St Davids Hotel in Cardiff Bay recently relaunched its in-house restaurant, revealing a cool, new colour scheme of whites, greys and light woods, and a menu inspired by the cuisines of Australasia and the Asia-Pacific. It may be on the pricey side, but a Friday night visit did a great job of convincing me that it is well worth forking out for.
